Power trio Radio Moscow
has been playing heavy blues-rock since 2004, but it wasn’t until this year
that their true debut album was released. 3 and 3 Quarters is the solo effort
from one third of the trio Parker Griggs, who recorded this entirely on his own
when he was 17-18 years old in his basement after becoming tired of the punk
music his then-band were performing.
With superb garage rock
energy and slinky blues licks combined, Griggs manages to create twelve songs
which hark bark to his influences of The Seeds, Chocolate Watchband, Nuggets
and Pebbles (among others) while also creating a really enjoyable listen. I’m
sure all fans of Radio Moscow have checked this out by now, but anybody wishing
to get themselves into some borderline chaotic blues rock, then you must check
out 3 and 3 Quarters.

nice posting.. thanks for sharing.
