It’s list week here at
Elusive Little Comments! Finally I get the luxury of looking back over the
year’s best material and find out if I’m still as in love with it as I was at
the time, and what a year it has been. We’ve seen tons of fantastic albums and
tracks released, and today we are going to celebrate the very best tracks of
2012. So here is Elusive Little Comments’ Top 50 Tracks of 2012, from #50 to
#25!
Enjoy. Also there’s no
Gangnam Style in sight, or is there? Ahhh!! Nah not really, just trying to
create some tension.
47. Cloud Nothings – Stay
Useless
45. John Talabot – Depak
Ine
42. PAWS – Jellyfish
39. Swans – Lunacy
36. Matthew Dear –
Overtime
25. The Ends - Jack
That is the end of the first half of Elusive Little Comments' Top 50 tracks of 2012. A nice mix of genres and mainstream/independent bands I reckon, but check out ELC tomorrow where we will have the second/more important half of this list, revealing my all time favourite track of 2012. Will it be Gangnam Style? Will it be We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together? Will it be Call Me Baby? Answers on a postcard titled no.
