Elusive Little Comments' Top 15 EPs Of 2012

We have got the top 50 tracks out the way, and now Elusive Little Comments will be revealing its top 15 EPs of the year, and boy EPs they are. Later on we will be going on with the first half of the top 50 albums of the year too, and as always it will be a glorious display of hipster wonderfulness too.

Anyway, let’s get on with the list! Enjoy.

“With quality like this it’s a wonder why Sebadoh decided to stay quiet for fourteen years, as the Secret EP proves they’ve still got it.”

“The mix of low-fi garage rock and pop-rock hooks creates five tracks which captivate the listener instantly.”

“Fortunately, the band hasn’t failed in the slightest at creating more fantastic punk tunes, as this is easily one of the best EPs of the year.”

“…it’s so creative and undeniably fun to listen to. Foxygen are great.”

“TNGHT EP is definitely one of the most interesting and greatest releases of the year. Everything about it amazes me, from its downright quirky ideas to its execution, everything is perfect. “

And there we are! Those are the top 15 EPs of 2012 in my opinion. It has been a great year for EPs and any one of the top 5 could have ended up in the number one spot for sure. Ultimately it was TNGHT’s heavy beats and hip-hop tracks that secured that top spot, but wow, there is some quality material in this list. Come check out Elusive Little Comments later on today where we will be beginning the Top 50 Albums Of 2012, and we can all laugh and cuddle over it or something.
