Jonny Debt is a singer-songwriter from Ontario, Canada and this is Bronze, the first single to be dropped from new album Prince Of The Golden Horseshoe. Jonny Debt with the help from some friends perform music with as much energy as they can muster and only stop recording it when they all feel enough of it as been bottled up. I think this is a very good way to record music, as it allows the personality to spice up the music a little.
Bronze is a very simple track, with the basic formula of vocals + guitar + drums, but with the energy from Jonny Debt and co it becomes a very interesting listen. The lyrics are very eccentric yet seem to fit in with the chaotic scenes in the Bronze music video.
The track also features a very catchy guitar riff which never becomes boring, and the same can be said for the chorus too. It’s just a fun track, and every now and then that’s all we need in life. A bit of fun makes everyone happy, and this is something Bronze does very well.
